This part of our research was heavily focused on numbers and economic data. As part of Theme Economy, we analysed GDP, economic growth rates, and the number of newly registered companies in the examined year, as well as the number of existing businesses.
We assessed how attractive these cities are for businesses, whether they provide favourable conditions for companies to thrive and grow dynamically. A key indicator was also the unemployment rate, along with the cost of living – we examined how each city compares to the national average in terms of salaries and everyday expenses.
Additionally, we analysed innovation-related data at the national level, such as the number of patents registered and the number of international business affiliations. We assumed that every creative individual aspires to operate globally, seeing borders as challenges rather than barriers.
